Here are separate pictures of two girls at the time of their First Communions in Socorro, taken not that many years apart. If the photos were made around age 7, a typical age for First Communion, the dates of the photos would be 1914 and 1919.
The girls are first cousins.
- At left is Monica Sanchez (born 1907), the daughter of Domitila and Moises Sanchez. Her family moved to California when she was a teenager, and she married Ben Lubbon.
- At right is Teresita Torres (born 1912), daughter of Ignacio and Andreita Torres. She married Robert Baca and lived her life in Socorro.
